Late 2010. Clinton Alston used to work a 9 to 5 job at a big department store managing the home theater equipment department. He liked his job as he has liked home theater equipment since he was a kid but he knew there was better, much pricier equipment and he found himself wishing he could tell those customers. That’s when he saw an opportunity to open his own online store and sell “the real high-end stuff” he wanted to sell.

Clinton quickly developed a relationship with a few suppliers and came to us to help him get his own online business started. He really didn’t know where to start. He didn’t know anything about hosting, domains, ssl certificates, or payment gateways. All he knew was that he “wanted to have an online store before the holidays”.

After working from home the first 6 months, Clinton has just opened his first office in Downtown Denver and is now working on remodeling his loading dock where trucks full of equipment arrive every other day to supply all of his new clients’ demands. His sales volume has also given him leverage to negotiate lower shipping rates with UPS and has hired 3 full-time people to help him pack and ship.

As Clinton himself put it… “no more 9 to 5 nonsense”.
